OpenThunder Desktop

OpenThunder Desktop is the free desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. It bundles the local engine and the CLI in one download, so everything, understanding, analysis, and verification, runs on your machine. No account is required.

Install

Download it from openthunder.dev and open it like any desktop app. One file; nothing to configure to start.

What it gives you

• Build and verify in one place, open any project folder and OpenThunder maps it locally; run scans, missions, and change verification with a live Evidence panel behind every verdict.
• The Lenses, Architecture, Security (including AI security), and Code Health, all keyless.
• An intelligent terminal, run commands in a real terminal that understands the repo around them.
• Agent integration, install the MCP server into Claude Code / Cursor / Codex, and generate AI Context Packs, from the app.

Local-first by default

The app runs a loopback-only local server; your source stays on your machine unless you explicitly opt into the Cloud, a third-party AI provider, or an export. See the Trust Center and Privacy FAQ.
